The Lake House is located in Anglers Reach - a small hamlet set on Lake Eucumbene in the Snowy Mountains (approx 5.5hr drive from Sydney N.Beaches).
The closest small town is Adaminaby (10 minutes) and major hub is Cooma (45 minutes).
Please note that in the recent bushfires, our local ski resort (Selwyn) burnt down. You can still find a snow hill to have your own fun and there are so many other fun things to do.
The Lake House is a solid brick 3 bedroom, two bathrooms (one ensuite) house with king beds in room 1 and room 2. The 3rd room contains 2 king singles and a pull out.
The house is fully equipped including but not limited to:
Quality bedding and linen, Games, Movies, Books, Portacot, WIFI, Aircon, Gas Heater, Fireplace (inc wood).

"I did not actually realise how much we needed the break until we were there."
From the moment we took a right turn off the highway towards Adaminaby (and Anglers Reach) it felt like we had left the world behind. To spend time at the Lakehouse is a privilege. It is a truly magical/healing/detoxing experience. I did not actually realise how much we needed the break until we were there. The house itself has the most wonderful "feel" to it. You feel truly spoilt from the moment you walk in. It has everything you could possibly need. Every last detail is thought of. From the views (breathtaking!) to the beds (most comfortable ever), to the fireplace- everything is just as it should be and better than that. We cannot wait to go back (we wish we never left..)

Serenity and tranquility are the words that come to mind when thinking about our time at the Lakehouse. Sitting right by the shore of beautiful Lake Eucumbene, you are surrounded by nature, including kangaroos every evening. From the living area and the deck, an expansive vista over the lake and the foothills of the mountains draws your gaze, and immediately relaxes your whole being. The Lakehouse is clean, immaculate and very comfortable with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and is outfitted better than any other property we have stayed at. At the end of our stay, we felt like we never wanted to leave! Thank you for a truly relaxing and refreshing stay, and we look forward to returning soon.

We loved staying at the Alpine Lakehouse, it was such a tranquil serene location to stay in where we could get away from city life and enjoy a slower pace, take in nature and rest. The lakehouse was large and well catered, the bed comfortable, a generous size kitchen for cooking and a lovely balcony to take in the breathtaking views of the lake. There was wifi so we still felt connected too. And ... speaking of the comfy beds, the quilt was so warm, what brand/type/feather type/weight do you use, as I know you are super knowledgeable in all things linen and bedding. We were so blessed to be able to stay, you have no idea how much it meant to us.
